Dad will love receiving this frame for Father’s Day, especially when the usual photo of the kids is spruced up with wooden letters spelling out “Dad.” This cool idea from Brassy Apple is so simple to create (as long as the kids cooperate!) and can be updated each year to see how much the kids have grown.

This craft is really easy to customize based on how many kids you have or who you’re giving it to. You can spell out Dad, Papa, Daddy, Father, Grandpa—whatever you’d like. Group kids together for the photo, or have one child hold the letters in different poses in each image. If you can’t find a frame to hold all the photos, use a long frame and cut out openings on a mat.

What you’ll need:
• Wooden letters
• Paint and paintbrush (optional)
• Camera
Frame with three openings

The step-by-step instructions can be found on the Brassy Apple site. This DIY is a great last-minute gift since it can be created as late as the day before Father’s Day, yet is still very thoughtful.
