Easy Organizing Idea: A DIY Marker Caddy
This marker caddy is perfect for all those extra pens and pencils you have lying around the house—and only takes 10 minutes to make!

Pens, pencils and markers are a funny thing, aren’t they? Whenever you need one, they’re nowhere to be found, but when you’re not looking, one will somehow manage to find its way under your foot. Thankfully, Aunt Peaches shows us how to make this handy marker caddy so we won’t have to worry about stepping on another one of our writing utensils.
Get your kids in on the fun by having them decorate the shoebox with their favourite patterns. You could also cover the box in pretty patterned paper—just use your imagination!
What you’ll need:
- Empty shoebox
- Toilet paper tubes
