Kids always want to play a part in decorating the Christmas tree, but with breakable ornaments and pointy pine needles, it isn’t always the safest thing—especially for toddlers.

But thanks to Natalie at Johnny in a Dress, kids of all ages can decorate their own adorable felt Christmas tree. The best part? They can do it over and over again!

What you’ll need:

  • Felt (larger sheet for the tree and smaller sheets for the ornaments)
  • Glue gun

Natalie suggests hot gluing the Christmas tree onto a brick wall for the best “stick” (and the brick allows for an easy cleanup). If you don’t have brick walls in your home, Natalie mentions using double-sided sticky tape to secure the tree to the wall.

You can find a step-by-step tutorial over at Johnny in a Dress.
