We all know how much fun it can be as a kid to pick up a stick or a pencil, pretend it’s a wand and then use our imaginations to cast spells on everyone in the vicinity. With this cool DIY craft project, your kiddos can now use an object that actually resembles a wand. Sweet, right?

Thanks to Majann, you and your kids will have a fun-filled afternoon putting together these awesome wands. (Remember: the glue is going to be super hot so wait until it cools down a tad before trying to mould it with your hands.) Your wee ones will be channelling their inner Harry Potter in no time.

What you’ll need:

• Chopsticks
• Hot glue gun
• Glue sticks
• Acrylic paint (in different shades of brown)
• Beads of all sizes
