Find a pair of jean overalls, a plaid shirt and a straw hat. Glue raffia to the brim of the hat. Cut four pieces of elastic, with enough slack to tie each around the wrist or ankle, and use a hot glue gun to attach straw to each piece. Tie them so that the straw peeks out from under their sleeves and pant legs (add an extra layer of clothing underneath if it’s itchy). Finish with some rosy cheeks, a handkerchief in the front pocket and gardening gloves. Approx. cost: $10.
