Valentine’s Day isn’t just about all those paper cards and candy hearts—it’s also a day to let your keen fashion sense shine through. From braided heart ponytails to sweet heart-printed tights, it’s easy for little ones to truly celebrate Valentine’s day in style. But as always, accessories are the key to any Valentine’s Day outfit. We came across a sweet edible craft idea for a DIY candy necklace over at Cute Food for Kids, the blog of creative mama Tiffany Yang. Kids can customize with any decoration they’d like—think cinnamon hearts, heart-shaped sprinkles, or even shapes drawn with edible food markers. The sky’s the limit!

What you’ll need:
• Large marshmallows
• Candy lace
• Decorations of your choice
• White icing (to use as “glue”)
• Straws
• Scissors

You’ll find the full instructions for these Marshmallow Necklaces, along with step-by-step photos, over at Cute Food for Kids. For more adorable Valentine’s Day projects, check out these 5 DIY Valentine’s Day crafts.
