10 Hilariously Ridiculous Pregnancy Stock Photos

I blame ridiculous stock photography for many of the world’s ills, but none more so than making pregnancy look like a horrible and lame time. Which it’s not (generally speaking).
Since starting to write about my own pregnancy, I’ve needed to root around for pregnancy-related stock photos more often and I have come across all manner of absurd images. These 10, however, take the cake for being most hilarious and astounding. Try and choose a favourite. I dare you.

I hear you! I have seen some unbelievably tacky photos over the years. (A woman with a daisy in front of her very pregnant belly comes to mind. Is that to signify freshness and rebirth or to hide a popped belly button? Weird.)
Fortunately, I know some amazing photographers who specialize in pregnancy photographer. Their work is truly inspiring.
I cannot decide which one I like better. The first shot, where the fella in the eensy weensie bikini ‘really’ likes his pregnant wife and is ready to impregnate her again, or the pickles and pee vignette at the end. Fabulous end to my night.
