We tote our cellphones around everywhere we go, to the point that they’ve become almost just another accessory, like a great purse or a lovely pair of shoes. We can’t leave home without them. So it’s only natural that we might want to dress them up a bit to change with the seasons. Unfortunately, decorative cellphone covers aren’t exactly cheap.
That’s why we love this idea from Erin Hankins at How to Nest for Less. She shared a fantastic tutorial on her site for making customizable, budget-friendly iPhone covers with just two materials. We think it’s a perfect project for a chilly afternoon indoors.
What you’ll need:
• A clear iPhone case (check dollar/discount stores to find one on the cheap)
• Scrapbook paper
• Pencil
• Scissors
• A craft knife
You’ll find the complete tutorial for these DIY iPhone covers over at How to Nest for Less. Make a few covers in different patterns and your phone will look like new every day of the week!
