Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, our attention has turned to Halloween. We’re thinking about costumes and trick-or-treating, of course, but we’re also digging up some great ideas for homemade goodies to get little ones excited for the big day.

We came across this super cute Halloween cookie pop idea over at The Decorated Cookie, the website of the very talented Meaghan Mountford. They look fantastic, but are really quite easy to put together. We think they’d make a great Halloween treat for party guests, or even for your child’s class.

What you’ll need:
Your favourite cookie dough
Circle cookie cutter
Cookie sticks
Candy eyeballs
Light corn syrup
Toothpick
White fondant
Pizza cutter
Royal icing
White food colouring
Disposable decorating bag/coupler/decorating tip

You’ll find the complete recipe and directions for these Mummy Cookie Pops over at Celebrations. For more yummy Halloween treat ideas, check out our 15 Halloween-inspired recipes.
