As the air gets a little more crisp, our thoughts are turning to chunky sweaters, hot cups of apple cider, and, thanks to this awesome recipe from Megan Reardon at Not Martha, making a batch of Pie-Dough Lattice Cookies.

Just looking at these cookies makes us hungry. We love that they look so fancy, yet are actually quite easy to make. We also like the idea of using them as a creative mug topper, as Megan has done here. And the kids are definitely going to love this one!

What you’ll need:
• Dough for two pie crusts (homemade or store-bought)
• A pizza cutter
• Baking sheet
• Parchment paper
• Egg white
• Round cutter
• Cinnamon sugar mixture

You can find out how to build your lattice over at Not Martha (a step we’re sure that kids will be happy to help with!) and get the full baking instructions from page 77 of the latest online issue of Styled magazine.
