Your kids don’t need to be artists to turn their assignments into works of art—a few simple clicks in Word 2010 can add interest to a report on even the snooziest topic. Insert images and edit them directly in Word: crop, adjust colours, add effects (shadows and frames, for example) and more. Simply choose “insert picture” from the Insert tab, and the picture tools will pop up automatically. Plus, your little student can make the pictures work with their words and add formatting to both to create a masterpiece.
