A Cute Paint Craft Idea: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

We’re big fans of Eric Carle’s classic children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We’ve made hungry caterpillar-themed snacks and even thrown a hungry caterpillar-themed birthday party. So you can imagine how happy we were to stumble upon this lovely hungry caterpillar paint craft idea over at Sweet and Lovely Crafts, the blog of “craftaholic” mom Lila.
This painting project is so cute and easy that even your littlest crafter will be able to take it on. It’s also a great excuse to get outside and take kids on a nature walk so that they can gather the key materials—leaves!
What you’ll need:
• Leaves
• Paper
• Washable paints
• Paint brushes
• A pencil
