Between trips to the mall for new back-to-school clothes and various other stores for back-to-school gear, there’s another topic that may be weighing on your mind: what on earth am I going to feed these kids? It can be hard to get kids to eat a healthy, nutritious lunch—especially if they’re picky eaters. But with a little imagination, you can make sure that they’re getting a balanced meal that won’t be traded for two Twinkies and a Fruit by the Foot.

Dealing with a picky eater? Try these five tips from The American Dietetic Association (as reported by Yahoo! News):

• Create a colorful wrap, instead of a sandwich on ordinary white bread.
• Stack sandwich fillers on little crackers, instead of bread.
• Pack a veggie- and protein-filled salad topped with nuts, cheese or beans.
• Wrap lunch meat around a cheese stick for a bread-free wrap.
• Make sandwiches in fun shapes using a favorite cookie cutter.
