Talk about a bond between brothers! CBC News reports that 12-year-old Gaelan Edwards of Campbell River, B.C., helped to deliver his baby brother over the weekend when his mother went into labour unexpectedly during the night.
“I woke up in hard labour,” said Danielle Edwards, in an interview with CBC News. “I couldn’t even get up. I was already in the process of pushing. There was nothing I could do.”
Gaelan woke up and realized that his mother was in need of help, and managed to safely deliver his baby brother, Kaynan. But how did he know what to do? Medical shows, he says.
We think Kaynan is lucky to have such a great big brother!
