Meet doting dad Etienne Ringuet from Kapuskasing, Ontario. He’s the winner of our Father’s Day Photo Contest! Etienne’s photo was submitted by his wife, Emilie, who selected this photo of Etienne and baby Laurent because, “Since Laurent was born, we have always tried to take some funny pictures that reflect how much fun we have with him! He is really a bundle of joy and a very funny baby.”
What makes Etienne such an awesome dad? “Etienne is a wonderful husband and father who gives us his everything,” says Emilie. “Laurent was born five weeks premature and I had such a hard time to start breastfeeding at the beginning. It was only after more than three weeks of finger feeding that Laurent was finally able to breastfeed. Without Etienne I couldn’t have made it. During those hard weeks, he was awake with me every two hours through the night to help me feed Laurent and to remind me to hang on and keep trying. Laurent never got an ounce of formula and it was in great part because of Etienne. He is the kind of man who puts his family first in his heart and I’m thankful for that!”
Etienne and Emilie celebrated Father’s Day enjoying the great outdoors with their little bundle of joy. Emilie also gifted Etienne with a sweet handcrafted mug featuring Laurent’s little hand print, painted to resemble a fish. “I love making gifts,” says Emilie. “It means a lot for our little family!”
Congratulations to Etienne on winning this year’s Father’s Day Photo Contest! And if you haven’t already, come join our Facebook community to take part in exclusive contests and share your thoughts, stories and tips!
