Dessert in Disguise: Hamburger Cookies

Okay, admit it: there’s just something fun about food that looks like other food. Whether it’s “french fries” made of shortbread with a side of strawberry jam “ketchup,” or meatloaf cupcakes with mashed-potato “frosting,” there is no more sophisticated way to play with your food.
If you’re keen on this idea, then you’re going to love this cookie idea from Laura at Come Together Kids. Yes, they look like perfect little hamburgers, but this edible craft is 100 percent sweetness. Delish!
What you’ll need:
• Vanilla wafers
• Keebler Grasshopper Cookies (or your family’s favourite chocolate-covered cookie)
• Coconut flakes
• Green food colouring
• Red and yellow squeezable icing
