Free iPhone App for Preschoolers

TVOKids announced this week the launch of its first iPhone app for preschoolers. If that is not exciting enough, for a limited time only the app is available for free from the iTunes App Store.
The app is called Melvin’s Marvellous Words and is inspired by the tvokids.com game by the same name. The app, which features an uncharacteristically cute and enthusiastic skunk, is a word-matching game that will help preschoolers to read and identify commonly used words.
If you think your preschooler would love to play this game, or would simply love to fiddle with your iPhone, this app is available for free from the Apple App Store until Feb. 1 (search for Apps, then Education, then Melvin’s Marvellous Words in iTunes). After Feb. 1 the app will be available for $1.99.
