Salma Hayek’s Breastfeeding Boost

Have you seen this clip? It’s Salma Hayek breastfeeding another woman’s newborn son during her goodwill trip to Sierra Leone.
The actress and producer was told by doctors in the country (which has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world) that few women breastfeed past a couple months due the stigma of having sexual relations with a breastfeeding woman. She said her decision was an attempt to diminish the stigma. At the time she was was still breastfeeding her 1-year-old daughter, Valentina.
