Are you Right or Left Brained?

While working late one night on our April 2009 issue, we became temporarily distracted by this test. An animation of a spinning woman can tell you if you’re right or left brained by which direction you see her spinning.
Most of us saw her spinning clockwise at first, which seems to indicate we’re right-brained, but we soon figured out various strategies to make her switch back and forth. Some strategies seemed to work better (looking at her from the corner of your eye) than others (asking her politely).
Which way does she spin for you? And can you make her change direction?
